New Indian label Raagverse has released Janaa Hai Toh Jao, a three-song debut that begins with human-written lyrics and uses AI among the tools that shape the finished production.

Mamta Javkar wrote all three songs: the title track, “Koi Keh De Usse” and “Tere Liye.” Equinox Virtual CEO Amita Madhvani says human creators retain control over lyrics, direction and mood while technology helps execute the idea.

The announcement does not identify the AI models or vocalists used on these recordings. That missing information prevents a precise assessment of how much of each performance is generated. The album is being released across services including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.

Why it matters: Raagverse represents a label-level commitment to hybrid production instead of a one-off experiment. Its credibility will depend on transparent credits that explain which roles were human and which were generated.
