Source: Digital Music News — ArtMaster raises $2.4 million
Prague-based ArtMaster raised $2.4 million to develop AI models that listen to people practicing musical instruments and provide personalized feedback.
The company’s Artie app combines guided piano instruction with game-like exercises. Investors include Moises, Warner Music Group CEO Robert Kyncl, Beat Saber founder Jaroslav Beck and Anchor founder Nir Zicherman.
ArtMaster reports 500,000 downloads and says its most active users average 36 minutes per lesson. Those engagement figures come from the company and have not been independently audited in the cited report.
Why it matters: AI music is not limited to generating finished songs. Feedback systems that help people practice timing, technique and musical interpretation may strengthen human musicianship instead of replacing it.
