Indie band Daisy the Great says an app has been advertising with an unauthorized AI-generated imitation of “The Record Player Song,” turning AI music cloning into a direct marketing and rights-management problem.

The band said the ad track keeps the melody while changing the lyrics and that it has struggled to stop the campaign. The report identifies the advertiser as ADHD Vision and notes that the company had not publicly responded by October 20.

For artists, the practical lesson is to archive the ad, audio, URL, date, and platform before pursuing a takedown. AI music disputes move faster when creators can document the allegedly copied melody, lyrics, recording, voice, and commercial use separately.
