Stable Audio Launches A Unified Workspace Generate App And AI Sample Maker

Stability AI has redesigned Stable Audio around a single project workspace and introduced two creation apps: Generate for full tracks and sound effects, and Sampler for short, editable sample packs.

Generate accepts text prompts or a visual “paint” interface for mixing genres, instruments and styles. Its Lens editor can trim audio, add fades, replace a section or extend a take while preserving earlier versions.

Sampler creates short sounds that users can sequence and edit. The experimental multitrack Sessions app has moved into a new Labs area and received workflow updates based on beta feedback.

Can creators distribute Stable Audio outputs? Stability AI says users own their outputs and may distribute them, but release decisions should still follow the account’s applicable plan terms and any rights attached to uploaded source material.
