Source: The AI Musicpreneur — Kid Rock Defends AI Choir on “Heal My Faith”
Kid Rock says the gospel choir on “Heal My Faith,” his song with Eminem, was generated with AI after he recorded the hook and harmonies himself.
On Real Time with Bill Maher, he described repeatedly prompting harmony notes, lead notes and a Southern gospel choir, then assembling the result. He did not name the tool during the broadcast, but previously told Billboard that Suno supplied choir arrangements and some orchestrations for the album.
Kid Rock contrasted that workflow with “7 Sins,” where three human background singers built a choir by stacking performances. He also said AI needs high-level regulation while defending it as a production tool.
Was Eminem’s performance generated by AI? No such claim was made. The disclosed AI use concerns the choir, while the release credits Kid Rock and Eminem as producers.
