Toni Braxton posted a 15-second AI-edited video that places her and members of her family inside Charlie Wilson’s real 2023 NPR Tiny Desk performance of “Outstanding.”

The visual edit replaces people in Wilson’s band, but it keeps Wilson’s original vocal performance. Braxton has not performed an official Tiny Desk concert, and fans responded by asking NPR to book a real appearance.

The broader meme began with an October video that inserted college football coaches into the same concert footage. AI disclosure has been inconsistent across versions; Braxton’s Instagram caption did not identify the clip as AI-generated.

Is Toni Braxton singing in the viral Tiny Desk clip? No. The AI edit changes the people shown on screen while retaining audio from Charlie Wilson’s authentic NPR performance.
