Recordings associated with BTS, Psy and 2NE1 appear on a list of 60,202 tracks that Universal Music Group and Sony Music allege Suno used without permission to train its AI music models.

The named recordings include Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman,” two BTS collaborations and will.i.am’s “Gettin’ Dumb” featuring 2NE1. The list was filed in federal court as part of the labels’ copyright litigation against Suno.

The publication reports that label-retained experts received discovery access to Suno materials and compared audio fingerprints with recordings controlled by Universal and Sony. Suno has acknowledged obtaining YouTube audio for training with YT-DLP, while maintaining that its training process qualifies as fair use.

Has a court ruled that Suno infringed these 60,202 recordings? No. The list supports allegations being litigated; the court has not issued a final infringement ruling.
