Seoul AI music company Pozalabs released a five-song ballad album by Steal Saturday and publicly identified the AI producer as a company-created act for the first time.

The album, Geureomedo, Oneureun, moves away from Steal Saturday’s earlier electronic sound toward acoustic guitar, strings and band arrangements. Three named guest vocalists perform across four songs, while Steal Saturday handles the vocal on “The Side Dishes Mom Sent.”

Is Steal Saturday an independent human producer? Pozalabs now says it created the act. The company describes its models as MIDI-based systems that learn harmony rules, but Korea still lacks a settled registration and labeling standard for AI-made songs.
