Suno has updated its browser-based Studio with practical editing controls that move the platform closer to a hands-on production environment rather than a prompt-only song generator.
The official update places clip settings in a larger sidebar and adds a Clip Info panel for lyrics, style tags and stem separation. Users can choose whether uploaded audio automatically stretches to the project tempo and can tune clips by semitones and cents.
Suno also added shortcuts for hiding tracks and controls for changing grid density and contrast. Generated clips are not affected by the new auto-stretch setting, while beatless material and stem groups retain their original timing.
Practical takeaway: Fine pitch adjustment can help match uploaded vocals, instruments and samples to a Suno arrangement. Auto-stretch can reduce manual tempo work, but creators should listen for artifacts before exporting a final mix.
